Carlos do Vale
Carlos do ValeFounder, Principal Consultant
Carlos is the founder of Kandu and will be your main point of contact. From 2015 to 2020, Carlos worked as head of events in the marketing senior management at Al Tayer Motors, he was in charge of all product launches in the UAE for Ferrari, Maserati, Jaguar, Land Rover, Ford and Lincoln. He also has over a decade of experience working as senior project manager for some of the top agencies in the Middle East such as Avantgarde and RedFilo. He was on the jury panel for 2020 WOW Experiential Event Awards Middle East. Carlos and his teams have won several awards, such as: Best media mix on an event – European Best Event Awards 2008; Best cultural event – Middle East Event Awards 2011; Best event design – Middle East Event Awards 2013; Best event on a budget – Middle East Event Awards 2017.
Daniel Price
Daniel PricePrincipal Consultant
Daniel is the founder of Carculture.ae, a local automotive media website which launched in 2015. Since launch, Carculture.ae has become the most active website in the region when it comes to local grassroots event coverage, priding itself on generating its own original branded content. The website’s success has led Daniel to being actively involved with the organisation of some of the largest grassroots car related events in the region, such as Custom Show Emirates, Gulf Car Festival and Caffeine and Machine. Daniel also runs his very own media-driven, niche car show MADE DXB, which has a considerable international following. In 2020 the show gained over 4 million impressions across all social media platforms.
Ed Jarman
Ed JarmanPrincipal Consultant
Ed has been forging a roll at the forefront of the events and broadcasting industry since the 1990s. Ed was technical director and head of video to a host of well-known international music acts, such as Bjork, Oasis, Guns N Roses, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Eric Clapton, Bee Gees and 8 years with Coldplay on tour. He assisted Beyoncé with her first solo UK tour and George Michael on his 25 Live World Tour. Apart from musical acts, Ed worked at The Grammys, BAFTA’s, British Music Awards, London Olympics and both the UAE and KSA national day ceremonies. He was the technical director for 7 pavilions at the build-up of the Shanghai EXPO in 2010, video and broadcast director for IDEX 2011, 2013 and 2017. Automotive OEMs such as VW and Skoda are also part of Ed’s extensive clients list. His experience is second to none, which has helped him in becoming the technical and broadcasting top professional that he currently is.
